About this policy
This policy explains how Whip Gold Pty Ltd (ABN 41 625 322 385) ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit whipgold.com or order from us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Contact and order details: your name, business name, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and what you order.
  • Payment details: payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment providers. We don't see or store your full card details.
  • Correspondence: anything you send us by email, such as order requirements, label artwork or questions.
  • Website usage: your device, browser, IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it
We use your information to:

  • process and deliver your orders and send confirmations, invoices and tracking details
  • contact you about your order, production timing and optional label services
  • answer your questions and provide support
  • improve our website and products
  • send you updates or offers, but only if you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • prevent fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations

Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run our business:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments
  • delivery companies such as Australia Post and Sendle, which deliver your order
  • analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, which help us understand how our site is used

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States and Canada. We don't sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies
Our site uses cookies to make the store work (for example, your cart and checkout), to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the store may then not work properly.

How long we keep it
We keep order and customer records for as long as we need them for your orders and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, we securely delete or de-identify them.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Our store runs on Shopify's secure platform.

Accessing or correcting your information

Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
